Job Title: Field ChemistJob Description
We are seeking a Field Chemist to join our team in Telford, PA. This position provides specialized disposal services to clients and requires coordination with EHS, compliance, and maintenance teams to safely remove hazardous or chemical materials. This role involves working on the main client site for about 25% of the time, with the remaining 75% spent assisting with various tasks, often traveling to multiple sites.
Responsibilities
Customer interfacing
Chemical segregation and manifesting
Lab packing
Labeling
Loading and coordinating transportation
Sampling/profiling bulked and drummed waste streams while adhering to state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations
Responding to customer inquiries about services
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
OR 2+ years of relevant experience
Personable with strong customer service skills
Strong work ethic and accountability
Additional Skills & Qualifications
OSHA 40 certification
Relatable internship or work experience
Prior lab packing or environmental waste experience preferred
Work Environment
This role involves traveling daily to various commercial and retail clients to collect and manage waste, with each day depending on workload and client needs. Overnight travel may be required for projects, which could last up to a week. Clients often include universities, pharmaceutical plants, and chemical compound facilities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
