Overview
Regional Cancer Care Associates (RCCA) is looking for an exceptional Accounts Payable Lead to join the team. This position is processes general accounts payable invoices for the corporate office. This individual must also possess strong multi-tasking abilities and bring positivity and passion to their work. If you want to join a team that is on the cutting edge of cancer care, while always putting the patient first, we want to hear from you! While some experience is preferred, we are very open to new grads looking to explore oncology care.

Responsibilities
- Ensures that all vendor invoices are paid when due according to department guidelines and contain appropriate approvals.
- Prepares and mails checks for payment.
- Reviews invoices and check requests for proper coding to the correct general ledger account and ensures invoices are paid from the proper entity. -Performs vendor maintenance and set-up.
- Reviews invoices received each month after A/P cut-off for materiality; submits to supervisor as necessary for accrual.
- Records wire transfers and manual checks in Accounts Payable system and G/L.
- Audits, codes and pays expense reports in a timely basis according to department guidelines.
- Maintains required reports, records and files.
- Records voided checks on a timely basis according to department guidelines.
- Works directly with vendors to resolve issues and ensure prompt and accurate payments.
- May provide guidance and work direction to junior Accounts Payable staff.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum five years of accounts payable experience.
- Health care experience preferred.
