Kanaan Communications, LLC Technician Cable Installation in Taylor, Michigan

CAVO Broadband Communications is hiring entry level Cable Installation Technicians in Taylor, MI to join our team and help connect America!

Compensation: $16/hr

  • Job Type: Full-Time

    Responsibilities:

  • Resolve, repair and install cable TV, internet, telephone and/or alarm equipment in accordance with guidelines.

  • Set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONT’s, routers, and switches

  • Analyze and record test results within prescribed parameters by performing testing on company issued devices and customer devices.

  • I nterface with customers to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.

  • Drive a company vehicle between home/office, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner.

  • Maintain a clean and stocked vehicle with equipment in order to be prepared to perform required duties.

  • Complete paperwork accurately and report and record all work order status updates

    Customer service duties such as:

  • Greet and interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns;

  • Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement.

  • Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • Must have a valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience

  • Authorized to work in the United States for this company

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Experience or are comfortable with working in tight spaces such as a crawl space or attic of a house

  • Experience in working through inclement weather

  • Experience with small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.

  • Experience with the demands of working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

  • You have effective communication skills

  • You are able to travel and work extended hours; overtime and weekends as needed

  • You are able to lift, climb, and carry ladders with weight of up to 80lbs
