Position Title: Plant General Laborer/Breakout

Position Overview: Perform various tasks such as bailing scrap, shipping and

receiving assistant, helps load and unload trucks, material handler and

sweeper/cleaner. Ejects scored blanks from scored cardboard sheets, discards

trim and scrap and piles away by size. Janitorial work as needed and helps

maintain both inside and outside of plant and warehouse areas in good order.

Reports to: Plant Manager

Position Responsibilities:

• Work as a team member to support manufacturing goals focused on safety,

productivity, reducing waste and downtime.

• Actively assist in plant and facilities-related work as directed. Responsible for

assisting all jobs on the plant floor.

• Eject scored blanks from scored cardboard sheets; discards trim and scrap

and piles away by size.

• Proper operation materials handling equipment.

• Weekly inspection of material handling equipment.

• Materials handling and trash removal, loading/unloading trucks, operate

baler.

• Facilities, grounds housekeeping, janitorial work as directed.

• Summons supervision as needed.

• Excellent accuracy of work.

• Protect and uphold company brand, image and confidentiality by adhering to

company policies and procedures.

• Maintain excellent verbal communication.

• Ability to perform repetitive dexterity movements.

• Self-motivated; able to complete tasks with little supervision.

• Ability to multitask, work under pressure of deadlines with repetitive

interruptions and multiple requests.

• To exemplify the teamwork attitude and assist your co-workers and staff when

needed in all departments and completes all duties or tasks assigned by

management. Completes mandatory training and attends staff meetings.

• Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.
