Position Description:

 

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our Construction group in our Taylor office. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, construction engineering or concrete technology (junior or senior status preferred) and possess valid driver's license. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required. Candidates must be self-motivated, very organized and have excellent communication skills.

Typical responsibilities include:

- - Conduct/Assist with field inspections - Record inspection daily reports - Act as the on-site liaison with client and community - Organize and maintain construction documentation - Develop an understanding of plans and specifications - Operate testing equipment - Assist Project Manager with contract requirements - Prepare forms and other paperwork in a timely manner - Maintain excellent client relations - Maintain a safe working environment

Education:

- - Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction Engineering or Concrete Technology.

Skills/Experience:

- - Valid Driver's License
