As a Recovery Coach, you?ll have a dynamic and critical providing peer-to-peer services in the community and at our extended care facilities. The Recovery Coach will also find and participate in the development of community resources; provide coaching and support recoverees in directing their own recovery, staff training, and liaison with the management of assigned sites as needed. This role is about making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. You?ll bring the following qualifications: A High School Diploma, or equivalent Lived experience with 2 years minimum in recovery Completion of the CCAR training with the intention of completing courses necessary for licensure Experience in the human services field and residential settings, providing strengths-based coaching and recovery orientated relationship building is preferred Excellent written and communication skills and experience with technology Some of your critical responsibilities: Maintain an active billable caseload of thirty (30) hours per week on average (calculated quarterly minimum). Five minimum contacts per month with each assigned client. Participate in planning and developing of Recovery Wellness Plans. Deliver coaching services at assigned sites ensuring that services follow professional standards. Advocate and be a liason to extended care facilities in order to maintain and expand relationships to these programs whenever possible. Maintain records according to VOA Policies and Procedures, completing all documentation and billing in a timely manner. Coordinate with external referrals sources in order to build and maintain target caseload. Provides other services as may be requested.
