Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Commodity Management Specialist

  • Be responsible to drive regional team to deploy global sourcing strategy and achieve good connection and cooperation with GCLs

  • Be responsible to deliver competitive offer for each ITO project on time by working together with global sourcing, ITO sourcing and costing team

  • Drive team’s operating rhythm from both, strategic and tactical standpoints to achieve best possible sourcing outcomes for the company in terms of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC).

  • Provide guidance to each team member in day to day strategic and operational activities where required.

  • Drive the operating rigor for the team in managing Key Performance Indicators – KPIs (Cash & Savings, Vendor Recovery, On Time Delivery and On Time PO placement, etc.) as well as the operating rigor on Supplier Strategy including management and optimization of supplier target panels. Lead major negotiations and make final calls in allocating jobs to specific suppliers. Act as the escalation point on complex Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) negotiations and provide guidance and training on the subject to the less experienced team members.

  • Presents business solutions to leaders in the Sourcing area. Communicate complex messages and negotiate internally and externally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influence peers to take action.

  • Ensure appropriate integration of regional constraints and needs in the sourcing activities in the region

  • Manage suppliers in given geographical region (qualification, development, panel, Relationships)

  • Supplier performance management and set up supplier development plan

  • Make sure no compliance deviation and develop team culture

  • Other assignments from sourcing leader

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Administration or correlated areas

  • Proven track record as a Sourcing Manager or Sourcing Leader

  • Skilled on strategic sourcing and commercial negotiation strategy

  • Strong oral and written communications skills in both Portuguese and English

  • Be capable to work in globalized organizations

  • Skilled on presentation and lean mindset in daily work

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

  • Demonstrated people leadership skills with significant on the job team lead experience

  • High energy, confidence, and tenacity

  • Clear Mind, open positive and proactive

  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented and result driven

  • Proven project management and process improvement ability
