Workday HCM - Test Lead

Onsite Location: Tarrytown, New York - Remote working allowed with travels.

Required Skills

* Expertise in testing Workday HCM Modules such as Core HR, Benefits, compensation, Talent acquisition, Talent management and Payroll

* Hands on testing experience in testing Workday integrations and Payroll validation

* In depth experience in functional testing, System Integration testing & Regression Testing

* Sound Knowledge in Software Testing Process

* Hands on experience in Agile methodology

* Exposure to business development support (Estimations, RFPS, presentations, capabilities building)

* Analyze Functional Specification and Create Test Scenario and Scripts

* Implement Test Scripts and Analyze Results

* Good understanding on Automation tools ((Selenium / Kianos Smart / UFT)) to guide automation team on Estimation & Functional clarification

* Knowledge on Test management tools (HP ALM/Jira)

* Good interpersonal Skills

Roles & Responsibilities: -

* Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive test strategies for Workday HCM modules to ensure product quality and compliance with global standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and integrate test plans accordingly. -

* Design execute and manage testing scenarios for Workday modules including but not limited to Finance Absence Benefits Payroll Performance Management Recruitment Services Core and Talent. -

* Apply deep domain knowledge to guide testing processes and ensure relevance and accuracy. -

* Identify document and track defects found during testing and work closely with development teams to resolve them. -

* Provide expert advice and consultancy on test automation strategies enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. -

* Analyze test results generate comprehensive reports and present findings to stakeholders to inform decision-making. -

* Stay abreast of the latest testing methodologies and tools to continuously improve testing practices. -

* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards in testing processes. -

* Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team. -

* Proven track record in managing product testing in a managerial capacity with a focus on delivery.

* Excellent problem-solving communication and project management skills are essential.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and adapt to dynamic project requirements.

* Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail is critical for success in this role.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 07/12/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $[52,000 - $106,100] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
