Brunswick Fleet Sales Manager in Tarpon Springs, Florida

Business Acceleration is a division of Brunswick Corporation, the world’s largest recreational marine company with a portfolio of brands like Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Mercury Marine and Freedom Boat Club.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Fleet Management, the Fleet Sales Manager will be responsible for sale of fleet boats through wholesale and auction channels. This individual will develop and execute on a dealer network strategy, with the goal of maximizing the resale value of boats retired from Freedom Boat Club.

Accountabilities:

  • Channel Development & Sales

  • Expand the wholesale channel by actively seeking out wholesale preowned boat buyers and cultivate relationships with key purchasing decision makers.

  • Build a pipeline to enable boat sales targets every month and manage negotiations with buyers

  • Manage the auction sale process through monthly auctions at 3rd party (NPA, Manheim etc.)

  • Coordinate with auction platform and logistics team to ensure timely movement and inspection of boats

  • Understand boat condition and meet with potential customers on-site

  • Support marketing and sale of boats direct to retail customers

  • Transaction execution

  • Liaison with internal groups (Sales admin, logistics, Operations) to ensure accurate information and transparent communication

  • Execute sales documentation (agreement, bill of sale) and assist team with post-sale execution to ensure a smooth customer delivery experience

  • Process Improvement

  • Develop a repeatable sales process to pitch, negotiate, and sell boats prior to their retirement from the fleet.

  • Formulate sales process to optimize inventory levels, considering seasonality and current infrastructure

  • Maintain ongoing metrics on related to the sales pipeline and sales activity

  • Engage in the continued improvement of the inspection process and output documentation / sell sheets that will act as a key pre-sale communication to buyers

What you bring to our winning team:

  • Robust knowledge of 18-25’ recreational boats and engines (5+ years of industry experience)

  • Excellent relationship management skills

  • Understanding of what drives value in the preowned marine market

  • Working knowledge of boat refurbishment processes and associated costs

  • Strong customer service mindset

  • Proven track record of nurturing leads into executed sales and driving repeat business

  • Ability to identify and productively engage the right decision makers

  • Ability to work with ambiguity to create and refine scalable processes and systems to enable group mission

  • Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally to align goals and ensure success
