STAFF MFG & PROCESS DVL ENGINEER - (AUTOMATION MECHANICAL)
The role will conduct tooling/fixture and equipment Design / maintenance, support MPDE team for the new product pilot run with the objective of meeting production requirements and ensure the machine stability on production within Engineering policies, procedures and systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with vendors to set up/debug automation machine; Timely feedback and solve the problem to ensure the progress of the project
Provide technical support to manufacturing during pilot run and production start-up/change over
Problem identification and trouble-shooting a wide range of complex mechanical problems for automation line
Responsible for the effective communication across the company
Line maintenance/change over together with/guiding the technicians to make sure automation machine run smoothly
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Automation.
Minimum 8 years of experience w/ automated assembly machines, skilled in fixture/jig design and troubleshooting for automation machine.
Familiar with Vision Inspection (Keyence/Cognex), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Pneumatics, sensors, motors and other motion control devices and components selection.
Robot knowledge will be a plus.
Interfacing knowledge between mechanical and electrical.
Familiar with Pro-E or SolidWorks, AutoCAD software to create 2D and 3D drawing.
Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills.
English skills, able to ready technical materials in English
