Defines, designs and deploys CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) Operating System strategy throughout the Company. Manages business processes and/or business process improvement methodologies to support Company efforts to deliver world-class performance solutions for our Customers. Trains and develops change leaders for the Company and empowers all employees to drive process improvements every day. Oversees internal/external continuous improvement certifications. Develops and manages programs and proceduralchanges to assist internal staff, suppliers, customers, and partners with initiatives to reengineer processes and methods to ensure that company objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met.

Develops and manages CORE programs to assist internal staff, suppliers, customers, and partners with initiatives to reengineer processes and methods that adequately assure quality of an organization's products. Oversees internal CORE trainings and facilitates CORE events. Ensures and enables CORE site & Cell maturity certifications. Recommends process and procedural changes to ensure that company objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met. Ensures that control procedures adequately evaluate an organization's products. Provides process certification, PFMEA, 8D Problem Solving & Red-X and UPPAP element support and training.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of primarily intermediate or experienced professionals, with freedom to determine how assignments are completed (e.g., objectives and approaches to completing work).

• Sets objectives and guides others on execution/approach for achievement of operational results.

• Problems faced are difficult and involve consideration of multiple variables.

• Explains policies, practices, and procedures and may influence others.

• Leads team of intermediate to experienced quality professionals, setting objectives and guiding others on the execution and approach for achievement by using CORE tools resulting in improved operational results.

• Responsible for moderate to significant improvements to processes, systems and products to enhance operations performance.

• Manages all levels of professional level CORE employees focused on reengineering initiatives that utilize lean, continuous improvement, project management, and business integration skill sets.

• Directs employees to apply CORE tools and methodologies in business and manufacturing environments to drive best in class processes while working to become a recognized CORE Practitioner/CORE Master.

• Ensures that best practices related to control procedures are used to effectively evaluate an organization's products.

• Leads CORE Site Assessments for small sites to enable CORE site and cell maturity certifications.

• Analyzes monthly CORE and Control Tower Performance Metrics to ensure that organization objectives in the areas of cost, efficiency, and quality are met. • Directs employees to demonstrate proper application and interpretation of the CORE criteria in order to gain certification as an CORE assessor.

• Provides highly specialized expertise and content for CORE training materials to ensure a successful CORE Maturity Program.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field of study

· 5+ years of management experience with strong business acumen

· 5+ years project management, project engineering, or project planning experience (scope, schedule, cost, quality).

· Decision making ability and leadership skills.

· Strong communication skills (written and oral)

· Experience supporting Engineering, Operations Excellence and Lean Processes.

· Excellent knowledge of Lean Practices, 6-Sigma, Black Belt activities

· Advance MS Office Skills

· Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices.
