Description

The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University anticipates an opening for an Academic Professional Track position at the Higher Education Center at McAllen (HECM) beginning in fall semester 2024. This is a full-time non-tenure track teaching position with a 9-month academic appointment, at the title of instructional assistant professor. Faculty in instructional assistant professor positions are expected to teach three courses per semester and perform service to the department and/or college.

Qualifications

The applicant must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field or have a Master’s level degree appropriate for the field in which the faculty member will teach and significant teaching experience at the college/school level in the field or in a related field. In addition, candidates must have very strong teaching credentials.
