Citigroup SVP- Global Booking Senior Quality Assurance Lead Analyst in Tampa, Florida
The Fin Solutions Sr. Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
Citi’s single Global Booking Program is aimed at creating a best-in-class initiative and organization around Citi’s end-to-end booking practices while developing a global framework, standard, and governance across all products and material legal entities. Successful delivery of a single Booking Program is critical to Citi meeting its external regulatory commitments, in addition to standardizing and simplifying its internal booking processes and requirements.
The Global Booking Senior Quality Assurance Lead Analyst will be a part of the Booking team under Global Financial Controls, within Global Controllers. As a key member of the team, the Senior Quality Assurance Lead Analyst will be responsible for establishing the framework, governance, policy and standards, and monitoring of the Booking program. This role will partner extensively with senior management and stakeholders across multiple businesses and functions.
Responsibilities:
Drive the periodic update effort of the Booking Policy documents, monitoring framework and guidance by partnering with key stakeholders from the Businesses, Middle office, Finance, Risk, etc.
Assess compliance of Booking related policies, standard, and procedures and oversee the related dispensation and waiver process
Lead quarterly quality assurance review of Manager’s Control Assessment (MCA) submissions provided by the Businesses
Prepare presentation materials for various senior governance committees
Engage with wider team on initiatives to drive Booking transformation
Coordinate annual risk assessment, periodic MCA updates, and quarterly monitoring of the Global Booking MCA to ensure compliance with Citi Policies
Monitor completion and update Booking Program related training
Monitor progress and status of Booking audit/self-identified/regulatory issues and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
Act as the audit liaison covering all aspects of the booking program
Applies in-depth knowledge of the business impact of process design and technical contributions.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Knowledge of Citi booking architecture and systems impacting Citi’s books and records is helpful but not required
Advanced knowledge in Excel and experience with data analytics helpful
An ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in Finance Services industry in an audit and quality assurance review role. The candidate should be a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and project management skills. This is a high exposure role where the candidate must have a thorough understanding of risk and control, the ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior management and stakeholders across multiple businesses and functions.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field in the Financial Services industry is required
Experience in audit and quality assurance review required
Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.
Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
In depth knowledge of banking products / systems highly preferred.
CPA preferred
