This is a job for a Supervisor, Lab Maintenance with a company located in the Tampa, MS area.

Job Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of all maintenance priorities of the lab. Supervise all team member and activities relating to the upkeep, maintenance, and space management of the lab.

Responsibilities: Supervise maintenance team in ensuring completion of tasks, adhering to schedule, entering and tracking work orders, scheduling PM with lab managers. Ensure the maintenance team is adhering to all safety guidelines and rules. Routine meetings with team to ensure accountability and open communication of daily, weekly, monthly, yearly assignments and To-do's. Routine meetings with lab managers concerning scheduling and noted areas of improvements or concerns. Maintain accurate inventory of tools, machinery and parts. Physically and in maintenance software. Ensure all work tickets are answered in a timely manner and correctly, filling out all necessary fields/pages of the work order. Work closely with the supply department to ensure the correct items are ordered and provide necessary info needed to enter correctly into inventory software. Validation test preparation, running and follow through. Perform tasks to ensure proper maintenance of all lab equipment and facilities.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a business-related environment. Two to four years of experience in factory equipment maintenance. Demonstrated experience and familiarity with fluid power, mechanical, and thermal system experience. Experience in troubleshooting electrical, electronic and motor control systems, including the use of electrical diagnostic equipment and the ability to read system schematics and drawings. Manage and process service requests using the adopted software ticket system (e.g. FIXX-CMMS). Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot automation control computers, PLCs and networks. Familiarity with office computer systems hardware and software, including MS Office. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting with a Customer-Centric Mindset. Familiarity with safety and health requirements relating to maintenance activities. Able to lift 40-50 pounds unassisted, stand up to 100% of the time, and perform physical activities requiring bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling. Experience with Lockout / Tagout procedures. Ability to read and write at a level necessary to accomplish the above tasks. Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
