Drama Kids Summer Camp Counselor in Tampa, Florida
Drama Kids is NOW HIRING summer camp TEACHERS and ASSISTANTS! We need motivated, dependable, and dynamic individuals who are full of energy! Qualifications: - Current College students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply for Lead Teacher positions - 17+ years old for Assistant Teacher position - Experience working with children and/or prior teaching experience is ideal - Theatre/acting experience is a plus, but not necessary - Candidate MUST be available from 9:00am-4:00pm for 3+ weeks over the summer. - Must be willing and able to teach in several Hillsborough County locations - Opportunity to continue teaching in the 2024-2025 school year and beyond As a Drama Kids Teacher you will: - Be trained in our high quality, award-winning dramatic arts curriculum - Follow, prepare, and teach provided curriculum - Teach and mentor students from ages 4-17 years old - Paid monthly at $20+/hr (commensurate with experience and education) for Teacher position - Paid monthly at $15+/hr for Assistant Teacher position Job Types: Part-time, Contract Salary: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour Schedule: * Monday to Friday Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: * Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) * Teaching: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
