Our Team:
The Enterprise Data Governance Metrics & Reporting team sits within the Data Operations organization . Our mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our customers by aiding in responsibly developing metrics and reporting , ensuring we provide transparency into our data environment , and allowing effective risk management through report creation and facilitation of self-service reporting, with the strategic vision of creating a center of excellence with our partners for all data governance metrics and reporting, enabling Citi to make data-driven decisions for growth and progress.
Through partnership with multiple Data Executive, Business and Technology partners, the team supports the end-to-end process of Data Governance metrics & reporting, from metrics design, identification & calculation through data sourcing and reporting visualization & production. The team also plays a key role in managing the internal governance processes, including several regulatory commitments, related to Citi’s Transformation Program.
Role & Responsibilities:
This Metrics & Reporting – Metrics Analysis Lead role focuses on leading the strategic design, identification, implementation, and evolution of data governance metrics and related processes across Citi. This is a key role as part of a dynamic team of knowledge workers whose mission is to support the critical transformation work driving the future state of enterprise data governance metrics and reporting. If you love data, have a background in metrics and/or reporting and want to be at the leading edge of Citi’s transformation this is the job for you. Specific responsibilities include:
Responsible for leading a team of highly skilled metrics and reporting professionals and as required be a backup for the Team Lead having overall responsibility for the team during that time
End to end production manager for all data governance metrics
Partner with team and data leadership to support the implementation and evolution of data governance metrics
Support business and functional heads to properly communicate and transform metrics into a single data center of excellence for transparency and further data enrichment
Oversee, develop and maintain the team’s internal governance documentation as it relates to process improvement, change control, and quality assurance
A strong focus on risk and controls, including working with team members and partners to identify and raise risks and put in-place appropriate controls to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and standards
Develop and maintain excellent working relationship across our network of data governance partners and drive Citi’s vision for best practices as it relates to data governance metrics and reporting

Strong leadership skills with attention focused on professional development of team members to create greater operational efficiencies
Demonstrated experience in planning and development as it relates to metrics and/or reporting, including level of effort, prioritization, intake/new business analysis
Demonstrated experience in developing & maintaining internal governance & process management documentation
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex data governance issues, policies, regulatory requirements
Proven experience successfully working across senior stakeholder groups, including internal team, technology, and functional & business partners
Excellent interpersonal skills; must have a positive can-do attitude; must be solutions-oriented and forward thinking; able to identify opportunities and risks for process improvement through a data driven approach
Demonstrated experience in driving initiatives across multiple organizational groups
Proven ability to proactively communicate meaningful updates & insights with a variety of stakeholders, including executive stakeholders & oversight partners, clearly & precisely to help management understand progress and risks; a “no surprises” mindset
Ability to contribute, support, and lead efforts to achieve department/ business unit goals
Ability to work independently and use a high level of independent judgment
Qualifications:
Key qualifications for this role include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
10+ years Data Management experience
10+ years in Banking and/or Finance industry desired
