Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer with extensive experience in cybersecurity systems and a profound ability to excel in test engineering. This role demands a keen focus on developing and implementing test strategies to ensure the highest level of security and functionality for our Patch and Vulnerability Management product suite capabilities, integrating advanced cybersecurity measures and AI-driven solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure the robustness and security of our Patch and Vulnerability Management software suite capabilities, from endpoint agents to cloud-based core systems.
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to streamline testing processes and enhance our CI/CD pipeline, integrating machine learning algorithms to predict vulnerabilities and automate patch strategies.
Collaborate closely with development teams to advise on the architecture of the system, ensuring testability and scalability of new features and systems.
Support the continuous integration of incremental functionality into the product, actively engaging with customer feedback to refine testing approaches.
Play a pivotal role in the architecture committees, providing insights on system integration and security best practices, including cross-platform integration and automation.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or proven equivalent work experience.
10+ years of experience in a cybersecurity testing role, with a deep understanding of test automation frameworks and tools.
Proven expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript for test automation.
Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies, including but not limited to OWASP, Burp Suite, and automated security testing suites.
Experience with both Windows and Unix-based systems, understanding their inherent security challenges and testing requirements.
Strong analytical skills, able to identify risks and vulnerabilities within the system and suggest mitigative actions.
Proven track record in customer-facing roles, able to articulate complex technical issues and solutions clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
Additional Desirable Attributes:
Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are highly preferred.
Experience in working with Agile development teams and familiarity with DevOps practices.
Advanced skills in Linux systems, networking, and VMWare.
Extensive knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud environments like AWS and Google Compute.
Knowledge and interest in AI and machine learning technologies, and their integration into cybersecurity
Must be available for full-time hours on W2
