Job Description

This is an intermediate analyst position within the MAC Documentation Operations Unit. Ensuring that assigned day to day activities for the processing of trading legal agreements are completed in a timely manner with a primary focus on data quality support of global contract negotiations and trades which includes document review, data entry, exception reporting along with document scanning and document warehousing for various legal documents, including International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), Securities Financing Transactions (SFT) Agreements, Master Repurchase Agreement (MRA), Global Master Repurchase Agreement (GMRA), Master Securities Loan Agreement (MSLA), Master Securities Forward Transaction Agreement (MSFTA) and Futures Agreements. The ideal candidate must have strong technical, leadership and management skill, with the ability to learn and work with a very complex in-house data management system. The position will require gaining a detailed familiarity with Citi’s standard forms of documentation, technology, and internal procedures.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience with similar data management tasks in a large office setting and have experience in a data processing field that requires 100% data accuracy. The candidate must be detail oriented, be able to interpret, follow strict rules and procedures and be able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines. In addition, they must be able to work independently with limited oversight and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as the job requires extensive interaction with internal legal representatives as well as other areas of the firm. It is a requirement of the position that the candidate have demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers to include MSWord, Excel, and the ability to learn and use various proprietary in-house systems including web-based programs and the like.

• Eye for detail and be able to process data quickly without errors.

• Strong analytical skills. Be able to isolate root cause by looking at available data.

• Ability to manage control practices demonstrating a risk-based approach.

• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Able to interact with Legal, Margin Ops and Credit teams.

• Ability to proficiently use MS Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
