Job Description
AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our growing Architecture & Engineering team in our Tampa, FL office. We are seeking energetic and qualified candidates to help us grow our team and provide experienced project management skills and leadership to manage projects and teams.
The role will provide high growth opportunity in steering business and client opportunity and serving as a role and advisor to the overall project team. The responsibilities of an AECOM Project Manager include managing the project team and disciplines for a concerted and responsible delivery of the project. The role will also partner in regular Client communications and relationship focused on service and growth. Fundamental knowledge and responsibility will be focused on multi-discipline team management, scope and budget management, developing work plans and staffing, proposals and contracts, for our projects and pursuits. Candidates should have demonstrated use of industry project tools and resources to effectively manage projects and clients. The Project Manager role is an experienced role demonstrating understanding and control of fundamental industry project management means and methods, with high growth potential, while being responsible for the effective management of assigned projects and client accounts.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Communicate and lead externally and internally for business and project success.
Build strong relationships and trust with clients and team members.
Effectively manage staff, projects, and workflow with understanding of project design phases, objectives, deliverables.
Manage design milestones and achieving accurate and timely delivery.
Responsible for establishing workplans, schedules, budgets, and to track and manage through project life.
Responsible with Department Manager and/or Principal for financial performance and procedures, ensuring projects are managed to standards and expectations.
Manage multiple projects as assigned that may require regionally based staff in multiple locations, to ensure effective project delivery.
Collaborate with Project Architect, Principal, and other team members as required, while effectively managing the project.
Manage and interface with Clients and Contractual subject matter. Responsible for delivering quality design and client satisfaction.
Serve as key point of contact and communicator. Reviews external communications for quality and accuracy. Ensures presentations and submissions are accurate and in order with scope/contract.
Guide quality of design documents, including QA/QC procedures and standards.
Lead meetings and preparation – ensuring proper material is prepared for purpose.
Contribute to office culture and be part of building a collaborative and creative team.
Work with software platforms including Office, Bluebeam, Projects, Adobe.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS plus 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Experience with software platforms for building project management such as Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, and/or managing activities from platforms.
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS in a technical, construction, management field of study, and/or strong experience in building design, engineering, and construction level management is desired.
Preferred 6 years of relevant experience in direct Project Management.
Project experience in multiple building types, including commercial and municipal vertical builds.
Motivated and experienced in developing and growing clients and design teams, achieve trusted advisor status.
Demonstrated experience in managing multi-disciplined teams.
Demonstrated leadership in client facing roles.
Demonstrated experience in preparing contract terms, scope of work, fees, and proposals.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $83,179.00 - $153,881.00.
