Aston Carter Payroll Kronos Analyst in Tampa, Florida

Job Title: Kronos Analyst

Job Description:

This position works directly with the end customer to provide assistance with Kronos time and attendance, which includes gathering business requirements for policy / configuration changes, conducting testing of new or modified configuration, and continually seeking ways to improve / streamline internal and customer processes, reviewing timecards for consistency and accuracy, sending out reports, etc. Responsible for identifying and troubleshooting Kronos payroll and time and attendance issues. Bring research and recommendations to team to continually improve the current Kronos Workforce Central application.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist team during new implementations, transitions, and enhancements for locations to gain a better understanding of the locations’ particular needs, and the type of training approach that would be best suited for that location.

  • Continually evaluate, identify, and execute continuous process improvement while driving toward common business goals, practices and policies.

  • Ability to interface and resolve issues across all levels of an organization. Proactively identify and implement service improvements in operational delivery processes.

  • Identifies issues, investigates possible courses of action, tests options, and recommends solutions. Assists with data integrity auditing, process improvement, testing and problem solving in daily operations.

  • Assists in the development of training programs/modules and the scheduling and completion of these trainings by all applicable personnel.

  • Supports annual programs and initiatives by performing associated/assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field preferred.

  • Kronos Workforce Application V8.0 or later (UKG) experience in an analytical function.

  • Working knowledge of standard Kronos reporting (time detail, employee transactions, time totals, etc.).

  • Payroll experience, especially when dealing with US/Canada and Union/CBA experience is strongly preferred.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience including Pivot Tables & V-Look Ups.

Job Type:

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Tampa, but will primarily be remote. Need to sit within a drivable distance.
