Backend developer Job Description:
Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Python developer to join our growing GenAI
team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of python frameworks like
FastAPI,development life cycle, as well as experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, and
security. The Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our
Generative AI tools, as well as support of AI infrastructure and security.As a developer in the
GenAI team, you will work closely with other AI professionals, software engineers, and business
stakeholders to build and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure solutions for our customers,
hence familiarity with Langchain, AI/ML tools is a plus.
Responsibilities:
? Develop APIs, Microservices using Python and publish them behind popular API
management systems.
? Create manifests to deploy APIs on Kubernetes and create services using Istio.
? Develop microservices to interact with cloud providers using SDKs or REST APIs
? Design and implement cloud-based architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP
? Monitor and troubleshoot deployment pipelines/github workflows
? Communicate with internal stakeholders including guidance on application design and
architecture
? Develop SDKs for our APIs that are compatible with popular open source frameworks
like Langchain.
? Develop and implement AI design to meet cloud best practices and security standards
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
? strong programming skills with languages such as Python
? Experience using FastAPI framework and asyncio
? Experience working with NoSQL database
? Hands on Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications
? Experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, and security
? Experience with CI/CD and pipelines and helm charts
? Experience with integration tools as ADO, github actions or Jenkings
? Familiarity with Azure OpenAI or Google Vertex AI or AWS Bedrock
? Experience with Developing and publishing OpenAPI specifications for GenAI APIs.
? Familiarity with vector stores like Weaviate
? Work on Integration of AI/ML tools with PwC internal systems
? Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
