Aerotek Inspector And Tester in Tampa, Florida
Inspector and Tester
To assist in the production of on-time, quality deliveries to our customers, including but not limited to:
• The Final Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the quality specifications are met prior to packaging and shipment.
• Performs visual inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at FQA or through box audits.
• Follows Visual Aid as defined in Aegis.
• Responsible for inputting defect data into Aegis.
• Responsible for alerting appropriate customer teams in the event of a Code One.
• Perform NPI 1st Article Inspection activities.
• Capable of reading blueprints to determine additional customer requirements not identified in process documentation.
• Perform Rapid Proto Type Final Inspection with minimum process documentation.
• Work to meet production and quality department goals (Customer PPM, Labor Efficiency, Internal Quality).
• Ensure completion of all C of C documentation per process requirements.
• Review previous quality defect information through the I-Dashboard tool.
• Process / 5S audits as time allows.
• Backup to Receiving Inspection.
• Be involved in lean / six sigma CI projects.
• Be involved with QIP team and determination of root cause issues.
• Roving production audits as time allows.
• Additional duties as assigned.

First Shift
Monday-Friday: 7AM-3:30PM
Second Shift
Monday-Friday: 3PM-11:30PM
Hard Skills:
• IPC Standards knowledge.
• ESD knowledge.
• Ability to do touch up soldering.
• Basic computer skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to enter i-Dashboards and assess defect history per assembly.
• Ability to read and understand customer documentation.
• Ability to use AOI.
• Ability to use X -Ray.
• Ability to use Electronics (Microscope).
Work Environment
Climate controlled production floor with electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, SMT, etc.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00
