Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Tampa, Florida
Description
We are inviting applications for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This role involves managing multiple client accounts in a CPA firm setting. The Bookkeeper will be tasked with maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, and preparing financial reports among other duties.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and reconcile the accounting records for multiple clients using QuickBooks Desktop/ QBO and Accounting Creative Solutions.
• Collaborate with managers and executive management to support overall company goals and objectives.
• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure of multiple clients.
• Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close processes.
• Handle fixed asset and capital project tracking.
• Prepare accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
• Prepare vendor 1099-Misc at year end.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial and non-financial reports.
• Process payroll, including annual and quarterly payroll tax returns.
• Prepare Monthly/Quarterly/Annual sales tax return multi state returns.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar capacity
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must
• Experience with a Computerized Accounting System is required
• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) software is highly desirable
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are essential
• Demonstrated ability to handle all Accounting Functions
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in preparing and managing an Annual Budget
• Ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis and provide insights for decision making
