Description
We are offering a Contract-to-Permanent employment opportunity for an FP& A Director in the healthcare industry, based in Tampa, Florida. As an FP& A Director, you would play a pivotal role in managing the financial planning and budgeting processes, developing financial models, and maintaining financial systems while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the annual budget process, incorporating new programs, services, and initiatives to align with business strategies.
• Utilize a detailed review of operational metrics to identify and forecast financial results, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasting.
• Develop and implement control programs in a manner that ensures cost-effectiveness, market competitiveness, and internal equity among employees.
• Monitor key performance indicators for clinical production, revenue generation, payer analytics, and related business activities.
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and perform ad hoc reports, analysis, and projects as required by senior management.
• Develop financial templates, models, and analysis tools in Office Suite using and developing data model from various systems.
• Responsible for the maintenance of Corporate Financial Systems.
• Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
• Interpret, apply, and monitor the internal control policies, procedures, and practices to assure compliance with corporate policy and any federal or local grant accounting and reporting guidance.
• Present clearly and comfortably on systems, policy, reporting of finance to any member of the finance, management, or executive team.
Requirements
• Proven experience in Accounting Functions within the healthcare industry preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in Annual Budget creation and management
• Strong knowledge of Budget Processes, particularly in the healthcare sector, preferred
• Proficiency in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A), with a focus on the healthcare industry preferred
• Experience in Ad Hoc Financial Analysis, offering insight and strategic recommendations
• Strong background in Financial Analysis, with the ability to interpret and present complex data
• Experience in preparing Annual Financial Plan for organizations within the healthcare sector a plus
• Demonstrated ability in Annual Financial Reporting, with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Experience in Consolidated Financial reporting and analysis
• Ability to create and interpret Complex Financial Models, particularly in a healthcare context
• Proficiency in developing Pro Formas within the healthcare industry a plus
• Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A), preferably within the healthcare industry, preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of Budgeting - Forecasting within the context of healthcare finance
• Familiarity with Financial System implementation and optimization in the healthcare industry a plus
