About the Roles We Recruit For

  • HVAC Engineers: working independently on assigned service calls, perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, systems, equipment, vehicles, and grounds in a specified area. Skilled in welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, roofing, and HVAC. Responsibilities involve ensuring compliance with regulations, leading equipment installations, troubleshooting building systems, being responsible for new installations, coordinating with contractors, supporting energy efficiency, maintaining lighting and performing various tasks. Duties extend to maintaining the facility grounds, mentoring others, and proven experience.

  • HVAC/R Engineers: applying advanced building maintenance skills to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems, along with other building equipment, vehicles, and grounds. They work closely with store management, specializing in commercial/industrial refrigeration systems, and utilize diverse trade skills like welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, roofing, and heating/cooling. Preferred candidates will have prior experience as a Refrigeration Technician, HVACR Service Technician, or Refrigeration Maintenance Technician, and must demonstrate scheduling flexibility. Responsibilities encompass adherence to codes/regulations, managing repairs and maintenance tasks through a CMMS system, installing and modifying equipment systems, overseeing compliance of new installations, coordinating with contractors, maintaining energy efficiency programs, responding promptly to emergencies, and documenting work using a PDA device. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, minimum of 4 years of refrigeration experience or equivalent education/training, EPA 608/CFC Certification, AHJ licensure, and previous experience with RTU and refrigeration systems.

  • Building Engineers: A multifaceted role, conducting regular inspections of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire alarms to ensure proper functionality. They oversee external contractors for tasks like landscaping and remodeling, alongside conducting repairs and maintenance duties like carpentry, electrical work, and painting. Managing energy efficiency to reduce costs, responding swiftly to emergencies, and ensuring a safe environment for occupants are key responsibilities. Additionally, the engineer applies advanced trade skills, monitors system performance, maintains records, estimates repair needs, and provides technical mentorship. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least four years of experience or trade training, with preference for certifications in various areas like Universal CFC, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.

  • Mobile Maintenance Engineers: Operating under limited supervision for assigned service calls, applies advanced skills to conduct complex preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, systems, equipment, vehicles, and grounds in various locations. Proficient in a range of trade skills including welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, roofing, and heating/cooling, flexibility with scheduling. Responsibilities include inspecting building systems, coordinating external contractor work, performing various tasks like welding and carpentry, responding promptly to emergencies, managing energy efficiency, completing day-to-day maintenance, reviewing work orders, estimating repair needs, and maintaining an energy management program. HVAC experience and Universal Certification are required for this role.

  • Maintenance Technicians: Performing general preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds. Operating under close supervision, they utilize various trade skills like carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, roofing, and heating/cooling. Responsibilities include adhering to codes and regulations, completing day-to-day maintenance tasks, reviewing work orders, estimating repair needs, assisting with equipment installations/modifications, inspecting new installations for compliance, maintaining lighting systems, tending to facility grounds, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, along with at least one year of related experience/training, with accommodations available for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
