This role will be part of the Capital Optimization, Recovery and Resolution Planning (“CO RRP”) team. CO RRP is responsible for the planning and optimization capital across the stress continuum. More specifically, this position will join the Capital Governance team within CO RRP which has been established to ensure the timely and adequate delivery of all capital related programs including Basel, RWA, and RRP, amongst others.
This role requires someone who can work on multiple, simultaneous deliverables and will focus upon program and project administration support, with the following key responsibilities:
Drive project execution by creating and managing project plans and leading working groups including End User Computing inventory maintenance, reporting, prioritization, and delivery
Track deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the project lifecycle
Identify issues and risks, make recommendations, and escalate as necessary
Synthesize project progress and develop metrics for senior management, internal audit, and external regulator consumption
Develop and maintain project artifacts and documentary evidence in support of internal audit and regulatory protocols
Ensure Corrective Action Plans for Internal Audit and Regulatory issues are developed and executed on time and in compliance with both internal and external protocols
Produce detailed, actionable meeting minutes with action items for Steering Committee, Sponsor, and other Senior Governance meetings, as well as, working group meetings, etc. and track follow-up actions
Continuously build subject matter expertise; be a trusted advisor to the work stream leads, act as a partner in completion of regulatory requirements regarding Capital and RWA
Deliver presentations to seniors in a crisp and concise manner
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field, MBA is a plus
8+ years relevant work experience
5+ years Project Management experience, financial services industry experience is a strong plus
Familiarity with financial services regulatory environment strongly preferred
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel (metrics and data analysis), PowerPoint (presentation decks), and Word (writing and editing procedural and technical documentation)
Experience in Risk or Regulatory Reporting is preferred: Basel, CCAR/DFAST, Market Risk, and Credit Risk are all highly desirable areas of expertise
Knowledge of Citi systems and infrastructure is a strong plus
Individual should be proactive, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to "roll up sleeves" to produce a polished, high quality, accurate product
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and translate complex concepts into "user-friendly" language for various audiences
Individual should possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to deliver insight and conclusions in a concise and logical manner and connect key points across topics
Ability to define, articulate, and re-engineer complex processes and procedures, with appropriate controls, and think both strategically and tactically while driving meticulous execution
Ability to establish and leverage cross functional relationships to help drive project governance, execution, and closure
Demonstrated ability to work independently or as a team player, with the ability to develop strong relationships across functions and at all organizational levels
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks, maintain composure under pressure in a fast paced environment, and exhibit excellent interpersonal, partnering, and influencing skills
