Responsibilities
Knowledge of building automation systems, including controls, configurations, and basic programming, with an understanding of how these systems relate to mechanical equipment and performance.
Performs inspections, repairs, and replacements on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment such as air, gas, vacuum systems, doors, conveyors, kitchen appliances, engines, autoclaves, laundry equipment, lifts, power transmission devices, and pneumatic compressors.
Maintains, inspects, and tests life-safety systems, including fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, fire doors, sprinklers, medical gas systems, and hospital beds, documenting results.
Inspects and maintains HVAC equipment like ventilators, filters, coils, fans, and thermostats, and assists HVAC mechanics.
Inspects and repairs electrical systems (480 volts or less), including lighting, outlets, motors, and powered equipment, assisting electricians.
Completes repairs, upgrades, and calibrations on automation systems following protocols.
Provides service and support for processing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Inspects and maintains building structures and furnishings, such as ceiling tiles, walls, doors, lighting, and room fixtures, performing additional duties as required.
Travels between LifeLink facilities as necessary.
Assists in preparing proposals and cost estimates,
Responds to after-hours emergencies as required,
