Citigroup Conformance Testing - Fin Quality Assurance Analyst - AVP / Tampa, FL (hybrid) in Tampa, Florida

The Conformance Testing - Fin Quality Assurance Analyst , is a professional who works to verify Citi’s conformance to regulatory requirements, through establishment of testing strategy and execution, stakeholder engagement, and works to drives solutions / improvements. The role resides within the Quality Assurance Testing and Validation (QATV) group within the Finance Chief Operating Officer organization. Regulatory conformance coverage includes Liquidity regulations, the Capital Plan Rule, Basel III Regulatory Capital Requirements, and Enhanced Prudential Standards. The Conformance Testing - Fin Quality Assurance Analyst will be involved in the design of the testing strategy, test execution, and the communication of issues to QATV leadership and Report Owners. Candidate should demonstrate the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Candidate should have excellent people skills, given the level of interaction across the Finance and Risk functions. The Fin Quality Assurance Analyst will be accountable for providing results that influence regulatory filings.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the testing leads to develop and implement audit-style testing protocols to ensure the transparency and appropriateness for data inputs, calculation logic & reporting outputs for in scope regulatory reports. Includes writing test scripts, documenting issues, document testing activities, status, and reporting results.

  • Manages one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, and considered analytical or procedural "expert" representing a team on cross-function process or project deliverables.

  • Resolve complex problems or transactions, by performing root cause analysis which will require review of Citi’s policies, guidelines, and processes.

  • Build partnership with colleagues across Finance, technology, data governance teams and 2nd and 3rd Line of defense functions.

  • Operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

  • Support technology enhancements for Business improvements.

  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned such as supporting development of presentation materials for senior management, recording meeting minutes etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-8+ years of experience within the financial services industry

  • Working knowledge on Basel capital rules, Liquidity regulations, the Capital Plan Rule, Enhanced Prudential Standards, and industry standards.

  • Experience in daily/monthly/quarterly submission of one of the regulatory reports (e.g., FR 2052a, FFIEC 009/009a)

  • Knowledge of fixed income, capital markets and banking products

  • Adaptive learner with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Be able to multi-task and ability to collaborate with counterparts in different areas of organization.

  • Proficient in using data management and analysis tools including basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$87,280.00 - $130,920.00
