The Chief of Staff is responsible for serving as the principal in managing a wide range of matters on behalf of the organization, overseeing all of its operations, including the management of staff, budgets, administration, policies, and procedures. They act as the liaison between the organization and other internal and external businesses.

Major Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage all facets of daily operations, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures including: financial forecasting, headcount planning, audit & control, and centralized policy/reporting

  • Manage budget and staffing needs for operation and technology by partnering with project managers to understand scope of effort, work deliverables, and project plans

  • Understand the complexities of the department P&L; allocable base, appropriate accruals, client allocations, the impact of capitalization, recovery and fixed price contracts in order to improve operational efficiency and productivity

  • Coordinate contract negotiation and legal requirements and push contracts through procurement process/ensure efficient execution

  • Conduct any and all business analysis needed to support the organization (e.g. expense forecast analysis, budget reviews, organizational structure)

  • Manage the standard use of tools and templates to facilitate project planning and governance across the organization

  • Review and monitor the key performance indicators across the organization

  • Prepare reports, briefings and presentations on strategic issues, as appropriate

  • Work closely with financial control, human resources and other key support areas to maximize efficiency

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the various functional teams to improve and automate all existing processes

  • This role reports to the ISG Global Chief of Staff and partner’s across the ISG senior leadership team on all general business activity including support for the ISG Tampa site head


Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, to interact confidently with senior management, peers, stakeholders

  • Strong team player, able to build and leverage relationships across the organization

  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with people at all levels of responsibility

  • Demonstrated capabilities in quantitative and data analysis

  • Proven ability to conduct research/analysis, organize findings and build presentations

  • Demonstrated success in managing deliverables within aggressive timeframes; ability to cope under time pressure, and work proactively with limited supervision

  • Demonstrated project management experience and detailed knowledge of technology products

  • Working knowledge of Citigroup, the financial services industry and financial products

  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PTS-W/SDLC
