We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Litigation Attorney/Lawyer, ideally located in Tampa, Florida or remote. The job function includes drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing support in litigation and arbitration cases.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting a motion for a preliminary injunction, supporting a memorandum of law, and declarations in support of the motion in a franchise arbitration

• Providing immediate support to our Franchise team

• Assisting with litigation tasks as needed

• Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents related to franchise law and arbitration

• Providing support in the field of Construction law, though this is not a necessity

• Assisting with other tasks as required in the legal department.

• Strong skills in Documentation, Franchise Law, Litigation, Legal Research, Draft Legal Documents, Arbitration, Draft Motions

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, barred in Florida

• Admission to the state bar where the position is located

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal field, specifically in litigation and arbitration

• Experience in construction law is desirable

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and motions

• Strong expertise in conducting legal research

• Demonstrated skills in documentation and record-keeping

• Proven ability to represent clients in court and negotiate settlements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High ethical standards and professional integrity

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Willingness to stay updated with current laws and regulations relevant to the field of practice.
