As a Crypto Monitoring Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating risks associated with blockchain activities.

Responsibilities

  • Investigating client blockchain activity to identify potential financial crimes (money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions, fraud, etc.)

  • Utilizing a risk-based approach and internal guidelines to investigate alerted transactions

  • Conduct investigations into unusual blockchain transactions

  • Perform transaction screening using blockchain analysis tools such as Crystal, Elliptic, Chainalysis, etc.

  • Escalating detected activity and writing comprehensive reports summarizing unusual activity and recommending risk mitigation strategies

    Requirements

  • At least 1+ years of experience in AML/CTF transaction monitoring, preferably in a fintech or cryptocurrency company.

  • Strong understanding of cryptocurrency transactions and blockchain technology

  • Basic experience with blockchain monitoring/analysis tools such as Crystal, Elliptic, Chainalysis, etc.

  • Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and enhanced due diligence

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigate through ambiguity

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to delivering value to stakeholders

  • Strong English (written and spoken), additional language skills a plus
