What you will do:

  • Perform compliance-related activities, specifically monitoring, oversight and training

  • Ensure that business areas meet and maintain compliance requirements by developing and reviewing new policies, procedures, and training material

  • Respond to alleged violations of compliance rules, regulations, policies, and procedures by recommending the initiation of investigative procedures

  • Maintain and improve company compliance processes and procedures

  • Risk assessment of existing clients/partners/business projectsInteract with external examiners, auditors, and partners as necessary to answer compliance management or product compliance questions and fulfill documentation requests

  • Monitor and provide guidance on emerging regulations in the sectorEstablish and maintain effective relationships with the Legal and AML/CTF Teams alongside business stakeholdersPerform other duties as required

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a financial institution as a compliance specialist or as a lawyer

  • Degree in Law is a plus

  • Strong and broad understanding of laws, regulations, and industry standards regulating financial sector

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; working proficiency in Estonian, and Russian is a plus

  • Strong sense of responsibility

  • Willing to learn and develop in the Compliance area
