Neptune Technology Group Quality Engineer - QUALI017499 in Tallassee, Alabama

Neptune has an exciting new opportunity for aQuality Engineeron our MACH-10 ultrasonic meter production team. TheQuality Engineerfacilitates daily activities relating to quality functions for the MACH-10 meter family and provides leadership necessary to achieve the desired level of quality for internal and external customers.

As an integral member of the production team, the Quality Engineer will collaborate with Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Design Engineering, Logistics, and other departments as necessary to ensure quality and drive continuous improvement for the MACH-10 family of products. To be successful in this position, the candidate must have a thorough understanding of problem-solving methodologies, lean manufacturing principles, and ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead inspection and quality control efforts for MACH-10 products.
  • Ensure products meet customer specifications and Neptune standards.
  • Implement validation protocols to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Spearhead the strategy for incoming, in process, and pre-shipment inspection of parts and assemblies across the MACH-10 family.
  • Serve as the primary contact for MACH-10 quality-related issues.
  • Lead the response to quality concerns.
  • Engage with SMEs in various disciplines as needed to resolve issues.
  • Support the companys continuous improvement goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field.)
  • 3 years experience in a high-volume electronics manufacturing role with progressively increasing responsibility in manufacturing/quality processes.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to multitask, navigate conflicting priorities, and drive problems to resolution.
  • Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to respectfully engage and influence others at all levels of the organization.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and processes.

Travel Requirements and Work Environment

  • 25% travel required, including international travel.
