Description
Position Summary:
This is an entry-level position with the goal being to acquire the skills necessary to operate independently as a Customer Service Representative. The individual in this role is expected to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Primary responsibilities include answering calls, creating opportunities, and generating quotes.
Objectives:
Answer incoming customer calls and inquiries with accurate and timely information and process orders. This includes verification of specifications, pricing, and terms.
Create opportunities and quotes in Microsoft Dynamics and submit to ERP to create sales orders.
Handle customer expedites, fax acknowledgments, and advise customers of shipping information.
Active participant in team meetings and quality improvement efforts.
Proof orders on a daily basis for errors. Assist in filing and other clerical duties as needed.
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Entry-level position. Prior customer service experience preferred.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
