In this position...
You will primarily generate new business through outbound prospecting and marketing efforts while handling inbound leads. We seek an individual with experience as a true hunter and a passion for revenue generation. As part of the sales team, you will be accountable for consultative engagements with prospective clients and working within the team to deliver solutions matching their needs.
Generate new business leads and prospective clients via assigned prospects, networking, and outbound efforts
Individually manage and triage inbound leads for the Ford Pro suite of products
Establish key relationships with customers, suppliers, and potential business partners
Handle customer relationships post onboarding, including upselling and customer experience management.
Represent Ford Pro at key customer meetings and industry events
Influence new user stories for feature development
Establish strong, positive working relationships across all Ford Pro Teams
What you'll do...
Focus on cultivating and deepening our relationships with Ford clients and prospective clients
Participate in pre-sales calls to qualify opportunities and conduct a thorough needs analysis
Demonstrate products using web-based tools (Microsoft Teams, etc.) by telephone and in person.
Contracting and onboarding of new clients with support from the Ford Pro Business Center.
Participate in salesperson training centered around value-based consultative selling.
Support bi-annual account reviews as needed. Conduct bi-annual reviews and lead process for continuously improving these meetings to make valuable contributions to the fleet customer
Attend trade shows, dealer events, and national meetings as needed
Stay current with Ford Pro systems, policies, procedures
Stay current on industry trends regarding fleet management, electric vehicle charging, telematics and fleet software
You'll have...
Bachelor’s degree minimum
Five years of sales experience working in an outbound sales capacity, selling to Fleet customers
Five years of experience working for a Fleet Management Company, Electrical Vehicle Charging company, or Telematics company
Experience with consultative selling in the enterprise space
Experience using Salesforce
Candidate should be located in the Northeast region of the US (PA, NJ, NY, MA, MD, etc.)
Candidate must be open to travel 50-75%

Sales experience in the enterprise space
Strong presentation skills
Adventurous and persuasive in pursuit of doing what's right for the business
Ability to prioritize and lead multiple concurrent assignments
Continuous improvement mentality
Comfortable meeting with and talking to customer contacts in the C-Level Suite
Understand the fleet management and charging space, specifically items such as vehicle lifcycles and the total cost of ownership, helping a customer reduce costs and administrative complexities, charging vehicles efficiently, and reducing range anxiety.
Highly motivated, self-starter who can think creatively and operate in a dynamic white space environment, specifically concerning solution development.
Strong interpersonal skills for building client relationships and effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
Ability to identify business needs and effectively communicate needs to a product development team
Ability to provide problem-solving, analysis, and critical thinking
Ability to conduct a thorough discovery meeting. Create a client-specific needs analysis & prescribe solutions.
