MassMutual Project Manager - ServiceNow in Tallahassee, Florida
Responsible for providing thought leadership, project planning, management for established ServiceNow initiatives for new solution capabilities. Ensure that projects are completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget. Manages vendor relationships to optimize outcomes. Hold project team accountable for the design for expansion of the ServiceNow platform. Ensure the platform is technically sound and following good practices to ensure upgradability, usability, manageability, performance, and scalability. Roadmap strategy - Align the platform with the overall business strategies.
Daily and monthly responsibilities
Deliver project objectives on-time, within specified budget.
Supply accurate project estimates and tightly manage project budget and approved funding.
Secure and maintain project resources and actively manage project/resource plan.
Demonstrate team building skills by working with resources List the primary duties and responsibilities in order of importance.
Identify Project Risk and issues developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
Effectively negotiate project priorities and solutions.
Works effectively across organizations to deliver project outcomes that have positive impact on the business.
Represent the project and be the main communicator of the project(s) at Project Review Board Meetings.
Drive lessons learned and knowledge management for future initiatives.
Assist delivery leader in building CBA, governance artifacts, charter, scope and demand / capacity forecasts for projects.
Scrum Expert, removes obstacles. Is a facilitator not a manager.
Maintains Sprint metrics (Sprint Burn Down Chart, Velocity), Facilitates Sprint Review and Retrospective for assigned projects.
Effectively partner with organization change readiness team to deliver appropriate business impact and training for end-users.
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
Advance knowledge of project management methodologies ie. Agile or Iterative
Knowledge of Jira or other agile methodology tools
Effectively utilize current project planning tools
Effectively partner with organization change readiness team to deliver appropriate business impact and training for end-users
7 years of project management/leadership experience preferred
Has knowledge of ServiceNow platform and its many modules / capabilities and is an expert in project management methodologies and project tools / technology
Experience with IT Service Management including Problem, Change, Incident and Service Request Management functions.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Scrum Certification/PMP Certification preferred
Target job salary $96,000.00 - $168,000.00 USD Annual
