Description and Requirements

Responsibility:

  • Create technical documents and manuals.

  • Explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Working closely with hardware/software designer to ensure accuracy of product descriptions.

  • Acknowledge in hardware/software development process in hardware/software product.

  • Work with customer to understand requirement & schedule.

Experience/Skill:

  • 35 years' experience in technical writer role in industry

  • Possessing HW/SW knowledge is preferred

  • Proven experience working in a technical writing position

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences

  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking

  • Technical editor tool skill – PTC Arbortext is preferred

  • Familiar with dita/XML/HTML format doc is preferred.
