Boehringer Ingelheim Medical Advisor - CNS in Taipei City, Taiwan
The Position
Understand the current practices, medicines being used, and trends in relation to respective therapeutic area through key customer contacts and scientific evidence in order to provide relevant information to internal and external customers
Execute the medical component of the brand strategies in generating annual medical plan to contribute on targeting marketing objective
Conduct medical plan for medical affairs activities to ensure supporting products
Provide medical/scientific input as a bridge between clinical research and the marketing and sales departments as well as the remaining departments within company.
Task & Responsibilities:
Plan and execute medical strategies to enlarge products' function, attributes, and future potentials and establish long term strategies
Handle NIS/IIS and keep auditable records in line with company/local SOPs
Develop the EE and Stakeholder engagement plans in accordance with the overall strategic brand plans
Instruct/ advise MSLs to plan their EE management plan on their responsible TA to facilitate their daily operations
Establish effective communications with global/regional medical team to ensure latest information available
Lead and implement medical project in launch readiness process for successful launch
Provide update of product publication, treatment & disease (product feature, industrial info update) to support other functions with latest medical knowledge (e.g. internal training)
Requirements:
Medical Doctor degree
Preferably 0-3 years experience on the same field and pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
Experience in Mental Health and CNS products will be a plus
Experience in new products launch will be a plus
Experience in team management will be a plus
Strategic thinking, Good analytical and numerical abilities
Innovative and pro-active with Results-oriented attitude
Independent, self-driven, pro-active, extrovert and dynamic
Clinical research and trial management experience, and be able to interact authoritatively with key stakeholders and investigators
Excellent presentation skills and to represent the company in a professional manner at medical, scientific and public events
Highly effective communicator both orally and in writing; can get ideas across one-on-one, in group settings as well as in presentations
Resource management and financial skills to control budgets
