WTW Platform and Data Services Management Lead in Taguig, Philippines
The Platforms and Data Management Services Lead is responsible in providing input and deploying strategic and operational direction, management, and oversight of the company's technology platforms and data management services. This role also provide assistance and direction for operational issues being SME in Platform and Data Management Services. This role involves ensuring the optimal performance, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure and data solutions, driving innovation, and leading a team of professionals in delivering high-quality technology services to meet business objectives.
The Role
Manage service delivery supports for APAC IT Infrastructure concerns.
Maintain IT infrastructures primary devices especially Servers & Storage in APAC Datacenters and remote offices.
Responsible for improving and developing IT strategies in providing solutions to clients while maintaining IT standards.
Working with Compliance Team in maintaining the IT Process and Policies. Engaging with Auditors during yearly review of WTW compliance.
Maintain Business Continuity of systems and application in APAC. Disaster Recovery setup and annual testing.
Engaging with Business Application owners and discuss technology solutions to meet the requirements required by their clients.
Point of contact in APAC for Project Management involving technology implementations. (i.e Office relocations, Data Migration to On-Prem or Cloud, etc)
Provide Assistance in the resolution or completion of complex tickets or tasks.
As APAC Platforms & Storage lead, closely working with IT Leaders on improvements and discussing technology solutions that will benefit the business. Monitoring the Capacity Planning in keeping the overall technology systems availability.
Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise platforms including cloud services, databases, and middleware.
Ensure platform performance, reliability, scalability, and security to support business operations and growth.
Lead the development and execution of data management strategies, including data governance, data quality, and data integration.
Implement robust data architecture and data lifecycle management practices to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
The Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on platforms and data management. Proven experience in leadership roles.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Proficiency in database management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Experience with data governance, data quality, and data integration tools.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networking, and security best practices.
Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
