Job Purpose:

The Financial Services Analyst is responsible for the daily activities of financial services and costing. This role will be responsible for analyzing the Balance Sheet, NVOs, Inventory and cost including SOX compliance in these areas.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manages the day to day Financial Services activities including but not limited to keeping clean balance sheet details and right-sized NVOs.

  • Responsible in completing and submission of monthly, quarterly & annual General Accounting related reports to corporate & division

  • Responsible for analyzing the critical metrics of Financial Services and Cost sections and coordinating steps for action within the local subsidiary

  • Responsible for accomplishing SOX steps for General Accounting and Cost

  • Responsible for analyzing variable expenses, cost, NVO and balance sheet.

  • Responsible for accuracy of owned balance sheet reconciliations and the resolution of reconciling items. Responsible for the preliminary review of account analysis prepared by CBS General Accounting and for the coordination of reconciling item resolution.

  • Responsible for monitoring and analysis of purchase price variances and the corresponding MRE forecast

  • Responsible for fixed asset count and overall fixed asset management in coordination with CBS Supply Chain Finance Team

  • Responsible for coordinating twice a year wall-to-wall inventory counts

  • Responsible for coordinating SLOB disposal in compliance with BIR rules and regulations

  • Responsible for the coordination of PwC Audit Requirements

  • Responsible for SOX compliance covering Cost, Inventory and General Accounting

  • Responsible for FTG Value Chain reporting and validation of FTG savings for cost projects

Leadership/Supervision

Individual contributor, will require close coordination with CS&L, Supply Chain CBS and General Account CBS.

Education Experience and Skills Required:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accountancy or related course

Preferred:

  • At least 2 years work experience in general accounting

  • Experience in external audit is an advantage

Skills:

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • High proficiency in MS Office Applications and Google Suite

  • Easily adapts to new system (Experience using SAP an advantage)

  • Good analytical skills and meticulous

  • Can work under pressure and/or for extended hours especially during month-end close
