Forklift Operator

Are you looking for the right opportunity to work hard and grow in a company that lives its Values? We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator  to join our team. This role involves handling raw materials, moving finished products, and ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse.

 

Key Responsibilities: - Operate a forklift safely and efficiently. - Perform daily forklift inspection checklist. - Move raw materials and finished goods as required. - Place weight tags on finished products. - Assist with packaging products when needed. - Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality. - Keep work area clean and organized according to safety standards.

Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent (GED). - Forklift certified or ability to obtain certification. - Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work effectively under immediate supervision. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands: - Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds occasionally. - Frequent standing, walking, and reaching. - Occasional bending at the waist.

The work environment can include the following:

  • Working near moving mechanical parts.
  • Extreme heat or cold (both weather & non-weather).
  • Fumes or airborne particles
  • Vibrations
  • Exposure to loud noise
  • Uneven ground

     

This position is physically demanding and requires the following:

  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel
  • Reach with hands and arms
  • Talk and listen
  • Stand, walk and sit
  • Bend at the waist
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular attendance is required

     

Local Wages:      Forklift Operator range is $24.99-$26.14, with the opportunity for pay progression up to Level V with the required training and tenure.
