FTE: 0.01, Shift: Day, Schedule: Per Diem, Variable Schedule Position Summary The Diabetes Care Coordinator (DCC) position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and technical support for a complex program of services; working cooperatively and collaboratively with management personnel to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations in the designated department. This is a high-level administrative position performing difficult to complex administrative functions. Responsibilities Manage the schedules and templates for Pharmacists, RDNs, and RN/Diabetes educators. Serve as "first touch" of care which can include but not limited to: Providing tutorials to patients on the use of Bookings and Mychart, scheduling and referral/insurance concerns, managing communication, coordinating meeting rooms. Control incoming referrals, from reviewing for accuracy and appropriate service to benefit checks and referral renewals. Assess patient enrollment and manage communication between MFM, OB providers, and Diabetes Educators. Assist in maintaining and upholding JCAHO and OSHA guidelines within the facility. Manage billing work queues (WQs) by evaluating, modifying, and editing charges within scope. Maintain inventory for office supplies, medical/staff supplies, and class materials. Requirements Associate's degree preferred or additional job experience such as CNA, LPN, MA. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $21.25 - $30.59 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
