About the role:

The role of the Senior Marketing Manager, Nordic is to drive solution sales and brand awareness by a deep understanding of the market for Advanced Wound Care product. You and your team will deliver consistent, clear product messaging aligned with our global branding and strategy.

The Senior Marketing Manager, Nordic will implement global strategies for local market execution, follow up and closely monitor. You are working closely with the Commercial Director and the Nordic leadership team.

The AWC area is targeted towards highly skilled HCP’s (Doctors and Nurses).

Experience within Advanced Wound Care is considered highly positive.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Inspiring an energetic culture of high-performance focus and sustained over achievement, through the HPT principles.

  • Strong and creative communication skills to provide clear direction throughout the layers of the marketing organization.

  • Partnering closely with the Associate Directors of Sales to drive alignment of the Commercial strategy through the sales organization.

  • Prioritizing a culture of talent development and building a pipeline of Convatec stars for the future

  • Leveraging strength of experience to creatively introduce improvements in team operations and outputs and upskill and develop team members to their full potential.

  • Lead strong execution plans for key new product launches.

  • Working in strong collaboration with cross-functional partners across all areas of the business, most closely with the sales, commercial, clinical, medical and global marketing teams

  • Responsible for the marketing budget planning process and monthly follow up on actuals vs. planning. Contributes to the Nordic revenue budget planning.

  • Lead and drive the annual brand plans, cascading down from global marketing.

  • Support the annual Nordic strategy development and execution.

  • Deliver on the marketing strategy according to global marketing plans.

  • Responsible for new product launches, ensuring every relevant party involved to successful delivery e.g., Sales teams, supply chain, finance, commercial, according to Global Marketing guidance.

  • Track campaign and launch effectiveness and secure the improvement of activities in ShowPad and PowerBI.

  • Drive a strong network of key opinion leaders with your team with focus on Wound Hygiene Concept and solution selling.

  • Your team will provide support to Tenders related to products, technical product information, evidence etc.

  • Provides information and insight on the marketplace for AWC, competitors and market landscape to Nordic management.

  • Monitors and analyses sales performance and market conditions, including customer needs and competitors, implements marketing plans.

  • Identifies and exploits new market opportunities.

  • Living up to highest standards of ethics and compliance, following the European MedTech rules

  • You are part of the the Nordic Management team that consists of Commercial Director, Senior Manager Nordic Marketing, Ass. Director Sales, SFE Manager, Finance Business Partner

  • Your own marketing team consists of Nordic Clinical Brand Manager, Nordic Brand Managers, Nordic Digital Brand Manager

  • Global and local marketing teams

  • Global medical and clinical team

  • Sales teams, field based and remote sales team in Nordics.

  • Market Access team

  • Commercial and Finance team

External:

  • Creative Agencies

  • Translation agency

  • Consultants

  • Customers / KOL’s together

Travel requirements

20% - 25%, on occasion, as business needs require minimal overnight stays, i.e., sales conferences, national or international congresses, team meetings

Language Requirements

  • Local Nordic language (DK or SE or FI or NO) fluent – writing/ reading and speaking, able to proofread texts.

  • English fluent – writing / reading and speaking

Education/Qualifications

  • Master or bachelor’s in marketing, business economics or administration

  • Mastery of core marketing principles including brand development and positioning, implementation of global campaigns

  • Knowledge of medical device (ideally the Advanced Wound Care market) and/ or pharmaceutical industries

  • General marketing and sales experience in medical device industry, preferably from AWC

  • Strong analytical mindset and very good excel skills

Experience

  • Strong marketing mindset

  • Strong and passionate leadership skills with respect and trust in the individuals

  • Experienced in managing local market and key customer groups.

  • Successful development of product/service marketing strategies and implementation of marketing plans/ campaigns by use of multiple channels

  • Strong analytical skills, good written and verbal communication competencies, able to analyze and interpret data to support decision making and leverage 360 dialogues.

  • Strong Presentation expertise to local and global management levels

  • Strong project management skills to deliver on tight deadlines and manage complex interdisciplinary project teams.

Working conditions

National legislation / full week working time.

Working environment is split between office and home office and partial travel.
