Sony Pictures Entertainment Intern, Content Strategy & Production in São Paulo, Brazil
The primary responsibility is to support content strategy efforts in Brazil, both for SPT Distribution and mainly the SPT Networks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to immerse themselves in the world of TV content and the TV networks production business, and to learn and gain valuable experiences that can help shape their career.
The role will involve a wide variety of duties, such as preparing Ancine compliance reports, creating and processing purchase orders, entering, organizing, and distributing information, working on power point presentations, scheduling meetings, among other responsibilities.
The intern can expect to apply its academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate their problem-solving and communication skill
Upload and organize production assets into Runner, SharePoint and/or other shared folders for easy access.
Attend staff pitch and production meetings (among others).
Coordinate and schedule meetings with other departments within the Networks and with external parties, including production companies.
Take notes on calls to log the key points discussed as well as next steps.
Distribute documents and assets to internal stakeholders.
Track incoming offline episode cuts of original productions and co-productions.
Aide in the creation of visual presentations.
Help prepare weekly Ancine compliance reports for the Programming department.
Create purchase orders and process payments.
Review projects (movies, TV series, unscripted formats) that are being considered for acquisition or (co)production purposes, both for the Networks and for Distribution.
Research different topics and market trends relevant for the decision-making process of new original productions and/or acquisitions.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
We are seeking students by 2nd and 3rd year of Radio, TV and Digital
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken). Spanish is a plus.
Proficiency in computer applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Passionate for and up to date with pop culture, TV, streaming and social media trends.
