Syracuse Arts Academy Elementary Administrative Intern in SYRACUSE, Utah
A well-established charter school located in Syracuse, Utah, is now accepting applications for an Elementary Administrative Intern for the 2025-2026 school year for the South campus. This is a full-time position. The start date for this position will be June 1st, 2025. Interested candidates should have a valid Utah Administrative license. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
1. Minimum of three years' professional experience in education
2. Demonstrated leadership capabilities
3. Proven management and team-building skills
4. Professional and effective spoken and written communication skills
5. Strength in organization and efficiency in meeting deadlines
6. Strong problem-solving and planning skills
7. Skill in technology and use of multiple data sources
8. Knowledge of:
o Multi-tiered systems of support
o PLCs, assessment, feedback
o Classroom management and student conduct
o Best practices in working with every student including ELL and SPED students
9. Ability to successfully lead professional development activities and training for staff
10. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and the ability to create positive relationships with teachers, administrators, parents, and community members
11. Experience with program/project development with demonstrated exemplary results
12. Knowledge and experience in research-based instructional practices, differentiated instruction, and data driven instruction that results in student achievement
13. Demonstrated interest and engagement in professional learning and reflection
Job Requirements:
1. Work cooperatively and under the direction of the principal.
2. Assist in implementing curriculum and improving instruction within the school.
3. Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the school improvement plan.
4. Facilitate the intellectual and professional learning of teachers with a focus on improving student achievement.
5. Access and disaggregate multiple sources of data to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction and interventions; provide data-driven support to staff.
6. Facilitate or attend school leadership meetings including PLT and grade-level collaboration meetings; provide support to these teams.
7. Attend and supervise school activities and meetings as assigned.
8. Assist in job performance evaluations of staff.
9. Assist communication between staff, students and parents for the purpose of evaluating situations, solving problems and/or resolving conflicts.
10. Maintain schedule flexibility for the needs of the position.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
