Syracuse Arts Academy 2024-2025 School Nurse in SYRACUSE, Utah
Syracuse Arts Academy, a well-established charter school located in Syracuse, Utah, is now accepting applications for a Part Time School Nurse for the 2024-2025 school year.
Syracuse Arts Academy provides a challenging, accelerated curriculum where academic excellence, character development, and individual growth are nurtured in a safe, orderly and pleasant environment.
Qualified applicants will have a valid Registered Nurse License and current American Heart Association CPR/AED certification for healthcare personnel. Candidates must also submit for and pass a background check in accordance with Utah's Department of Public Safety requirements.
The following qualifications and duties may include:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Prepare and update standard Health Care Plans (HCPs).
• Prepare and update customized HCPs.
• Meet with parents and teachers regarding HCPs.
• Follow up with all referrals from results of student screenings for hearing and vision
• AED monitoring, inventory equipment and supplies for annual ordering
• Assist with teacher/staff trainings for asthma, allergies, diabetes, seizures, etc. if/when needed
• Attend USNA fall, and spring conferences and other trainings/conferences as needed.
