Job Title: Warehouse Technician

Job Description

This position is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery. The role requires at least 1 year of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong documentation skills and attention to detail are necessary to complete warehousing documentation per SOP. Training will include SOPs, gowning training, safety training, and may take 2-3 weeks to complete on a 5x8-hour shift schedule. After training, the candidate will move to hands-on training with the Materials Management team.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Syracuse, New York.

Work Environment

This role is in a highly regulated FDA environment within a pharmaceutical manufacturing lab. The candidate will be exposed to moving parts and will work in a 'Clean Room' which is well-lit, temperature, and humidity-controlled. The candidate will be fully gowned from head to toe including hair net, beard net (if necessary), safety glasses, lab suit, gloves, and booties. The workweek is Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break. The rate is $20-22/hr, dependent on experience.
