SUNY Upstate Medical University Senior Pharmacist - Critical Care, Emergency Medicine - Community in Syracuse, New York
Job Summary:
This Pharmacist will provide pharmacy services and supervisory oversight for Upstate Community Hospital's Inpatient Pharmacy Department, including compounding and dispensing medications and pharmaceutical supplies and providing pharmaceutical care to desired outcomes of treatment.
As a Senior Pharmacist, this individual will have direct supervisory responsibilities for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and learners. In addition, this pharmacist will provide pharmacy services and supervisory oversight for the intensive care unit and ACEP Level 1 Accredited Geriatric Emergency Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D., NYS license/registration (or eligible) and a minimum of 5 years of experience (preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment) required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in critical care and /or emergency medicine within a hospital or healthcare environment and/or PGY2 in Critical Care or Emergency Medicine. Previous supervisory experience.
Work Days:
Rotating shifts
