Syracuse University Program Coordinator of the LGBTQ+ Resource Center in Syracuse, New York
The LGBTQ+ Resource Center's Program Coordinator organizes small and large-scale programs and events, manages daily administrative operations, and facilitates allyship-development workshops. A key component of this position is understanding and supporting LGBTQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, lntersex, Asexual) students' sense of belonging in the University, and, more broadly, people with marginalized genders and sexualities and their intersecting identities such as race, class, and disability.
The LGBTQ+ Resource Center is part of the lntercultural Collective (IC) consisting of Multicultural Affairs, Disability Cultural Center, Barner-McDuffie House, Kessler Scholars Program, and the Center for International Services. The person in this position will partner with the coordinators and other staff of the IC to provide intersectional programs and events to the University community.
