Aerotek Low Voltage Technician in Syracuse, New York

Job Title: Low Voltage Technician

Job Description

The low voltage technician will be responsible for installing, servicing, and inspecting low voltage electrical systems. Systems include access control systems, cctv, and fire alarm systems. Troubleshooting systems for defects is a primary function of this role. Routine maintenance on the systems will be required. Providing excellent customer service to clients. Companies are within commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting low voltage electrical systems.

  • Install and troubleshoot low voltage electrical systems.

  • Work on both new construction and existing buildings.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.

  • Experience low voltage electrical systems.

  • Reliable transportation.

Work Environment

Team Size: In a service role, technicians work relatively independently as they travel to complete service requests. Dress Code: Jeans, safety boots, work shirts, PPE. Hours: 7AM - 4PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, New York.
